38mm Plasti-Twist® Closure with Liner
The 38mm Plastic-Twist® closure is a two-piece, compression moulded plastic vacuum closure, produced by Silgan White Cap primarily used in hot fill applications.
The closure is made of polypropylene and also features a compression moulded liner, available with or without barrier properties or oxygen scavenger.
The 38mm Plasti-Twist® has two threads for better application, and flat liner profile for sealing of PET bottles. It also features a patented drop-down tamper evident band. After opening the band stays on the container, and, as the band is not attached to the closure, it is easier to reseal the container.
The 38mm Plasti-Twist® cap has low removal torques for easy opening and excellent resealability.
Top printing is possible on the closure.
The cap is suitable for many hot fill liquid food and still beverage applications including juices, iced tea and sports drinks and is compatible with plastic containers in all materials. It can also be used for cold fill.
