Plasti-Twist Closure Ideal for Ackermanns Haus Hot-Fill Products
Ackermanns Haus of Ellefeld, Germany has introduced a new line extension to its highly successful "Ackermanns Haus" range of juices and nectars.
The new range is available in 1 litre PET bottles with sleeve-label and features Amcor White Cap's 38mm Plasti-Twist closure with liner.
The attractive plastic closures are printed in one colour with the "Ackermanns Haus" logo. There are 3 flavours in the range: Orange, Apple and Multivitamin. The hot-fill products are distributed throughout Germany. The 1 litre PET bottles are light and unbreakable, ideal for on-the-go consumption.

Kinella Baby Juice
Ackermanns Haus has also relaunched its "Kinella" baby juice range with a revised sleeve-label design. The packaging features a 0.5 litre PET bottle and Amcor White Cap's 38mm

Partnership
Ackermanns and Amcor White Cap have a long standing partnership and close working relationship on many projects.
For example, the "Ackermanns Haus" juices and nectars range is already available in returnable bottles and one-trip glass containers, the latter incorporating Amcor White Cap's Twist-Off closures.
Plasti-Twist closure
The 38mm Plasti-Twist Cap is a two piece compression moulded closure, primarily for use in hot fill applications. The closure is made of polypropylene, with compression moulded liner. It has two threads for better application and flat liner profile for sealing PET bottles.
The closure has a patented drop-down tamper-evident band. After opening, the band stays on the container and, as the band is not attached to the closure, it is easier to reseal the container. The 38mm Plasti-Twist has low removal torques for easy opening and excellent resealability.
Ackermanns Haus
Ackermanns Haus is based in Ellefeld, Saxony. It was founded in 1934 by Martin Ackermann. It expanded after World War II and started to specialise in liquid baby food production in the 1960's. Since the reunification of Germany in 1989 it has built new production facilities and a modern filling hall and also moved into a new office building. The company produces 90 different juices, nectars, fruit juices and mulled wine/Glühwein, with sales of 25 million bottles per year. The brand kinella has a 14% market share in Germany in total and a 37% share in the former GDR.
Its brands include "Ackermanns" juices, nectars and Glühwein and "Kinella" children's juices.
