70mm TNB Extra Deep Twist-Off provides superior decoration features
Silgan White Cap is supplying its 70mm TNB Extra Deep Twist-Off closure with
safety button to OLE! of Poland for a new product launch. The cap also forms
part of the new image for this innovative food production company.
The Product
OLE! has launched 2 types of ready-to-serve meals, Mushroom letcho (Traditional
and Provencal) and Beans with mushrooms (Oriental, Mexican and Italian).
These vegetable delicacies are for customers who not only appreciate time-saving
solutions, but also expect healthy and attractive food. The products are in an
attractive packaging - new closure type with innovative designs and new glass jar.
The Closure
OLE! chose the 70mm TNB Extra Deep Twist-Off closure with safety button for
the launch.
Normally this market segment uses Regular Twist-Off closures.
The new cap type provides a better grip because of its deeper skirt, more surface for
decoration and eye-catching shelf appeal. The 70mm size is also ideal for pouring
from or removing product with a spoon.
A distinct "pop" or "click" can be heard when the 70mm TNB Extra Deep Twist-Off
closure with button is opened for the first time. The noise is caused by the vacuum
being released and the button popping back to its original position. The closure
demonstrates to the consumer that the product is safely sealed in 3 ways: they can
see, feel and hear the change.
The packaging for the launch is completed by a new 450ml glass jar.
Additionally, OLE! has introduced the new image/new design for all of its closures,
the 58mm Regular Twist-Off, the 63mm Deep Wide Mouth Twist-Off and the 66mm,
82mm and 100mm Regular Twist-Off with Step. All the caps have a safety button
feature.
