Silgan White Cap South East Asia, Inc., based in Santa Rosa City, the Philippines formally opened its Lithography facility and finished goods warehouse last May 19, 2011. Special guests for the occasion were Mr. Larry Boik, Senior Vice President & Head of SWC International, Mr. Frank Sollmann Vice President Finance SWC International and Mr. Alan Wang GM SWC Shanghai
The printing and coating lines were originally from Silgan White Cap Turkey and refurbished by Hebenstreit Corp. of Germany.
"We are honoured to be the first Silgan White Cap facility, outside the U.S. and Europe to open its own lithography facility." said Edwin P. Seņa, General Manager SWCSEA, he added that " in-house printing & coating dramatically improves our capability to support customer requirements, improve quality and further enhance Silgan White Cap's image as the premier closures supplier in the region.
The addition of a new finished goods warehouse will reduce outside leasing costs and improve SWCSEA's delivery efficiency. A portion of the new warehouse will house the expanded Customer Technical Service workshop and upgrade its capability for Sealing Equipment fabrication & rehabilitation.

With fourteen plants Silgan White Cap is an international producer of metal, plastic and composite closures for oxygen sensitive, vacuum packaged and aseptically packaged food products and still beverages. Its closures are used exclusively in glass or plastic container applications.
