Both closures have been designed for maximum convenience and ease of use. A four thread system ensures improved cap application and removal and the caps can be applied with both straight-line and rotary sealing machines. For consumers, the caps are easy to open and reseal and a patented drop down safety brand offers effective tamper evidence. The BTO incorporates a metal panel with plastisol gasket and a plastic fitment with tamper evident band. The gasket ensures an excellent sealing performance with all types of container, and the closure offers excellent barrier properties. It is also suitable for certain pasteurisation processes. The BTO can be specified with a vacuum safety button, which pops up with an audible click during first opening. Decoration options mean the closures can be individualised for effective branding and on-shelf impact. The plastic fitment for the BTO is available in a variety of colours while graphics and images can be created on the metal panel via litho print. The VHJ can also be specified in a number of different colours and offers additional external printing or embossing.
