| Silgan White Cap opens new Metal Closure Plant in the Philippines |
Silgan White Cap South East Asia has moved its operations to a new purpose-built factory in the Philippines, creating larger production facilities to meet increasing demand for its products throughout the region.

The new plant, which is located in the export processing zone in Santa Rosa City, Philippines, will be the company's main base for Asia. It has been designed to provide double the production space of the existing factory, increasing the capacity for Silgan White Cap's extensive range of closures including its market leading Twist-Off and PT metal closures, and enabling the company to deliver even faster response times for customers. Changeovers have been minimised through the creation of dedicated production lines for the company's large volume closures such as its 30mm and 63mm Twist-Off sizes.
The factory also features additional space for Silgan White Cap's lithography operations along with extensive warehouse facilities for the packing and storage of finished goods.
Silgan White Cap is the leading global producer of metal, plastic and composite closures for oxygen sensitive, vacuum packaged and aseptically packaged food products and still beverages, with 15 factories worldwide. Its closures are used extensively in glass and plastic container applications.
