Silgan White Cap seals the first energy drink with CoffeeBerryTM, an extract
from the fruit of the coffee tree
Energy drink 'Michel POWER CoffeeBerryTM' was launched successfully by
Rivella AG from Rothrist in Switzerland. For the 200ml glass bottle, Rivella AG
chose a Silgan White Cap closure, type 38mm medium deep-drawn Twist-Off
with button.
The Product
'Michel POWER CoffeeBerryTM' is the first energy drink worldwide with
CoffeeBerryTM, an extract from the fruit of the coffee tree. One bottle contains
the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee – plus fruity flavour at its best.
Rivella does not use any synthetic caffeine but only that extracted from coffee
and so guarantees a powerful boost of energy.
CoffeeBerryTM is an extract of the red coffee cherry, the fruit of the coffee tree,
so it contains the coffee bean plus the pulp.
The energy drink is a refreshing alternative to coffee and ideal for juice drinkers
and coffee lovers at home or on the go.
The Packaging
The 200ml glass bottle is an optimum size for immediate consumption. The
diameter is very convenient for drinking directly out of the bottle. The easy to
open and safe to reseal 38MTB Twist-Off provides user-friendly handling.
The button 'clicks' when first opened and so indicates that the product was
originally sealed.
