Silgan White Cap South East Asia, Inc. (SWCSEA) was inducted as associate member of the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization (Philfoodex) last 25 September 2007 at Club Filipino at McKinley St., San Juan, Metro Manila. Mr. Edwin P. Seña, SWCSEA President & General Manager represented the Company during the Induction ceremonies and was sworn in by Mr. Roberto Amores, President of Philfoodex. (Shown in photo) The Philfoodex is an organization of ethnic food processors and exporters packaging their products in glass jars using our vacuum closures for preservative free packaging. The processed products include marine, fruit and vegetables juice, purees and concentrates; sauces, condiments, spices, mixes, salad dressings; cereal and flour preparations and coffee and cocoa.
Silgan White Cap Southeast Asia is the leading supplier of vacuum metal & plastic closures worldwide. SWCSEA’s factory in Canlubang, Laguna supplies produces metal closures (30mm to 82mm sizes) to local and foreign food & beverage customers. It was recently granted an Export Enterprise License by the Philippine Export Zone Authority and will soon build a brand-new state-of-the-art factory at the Greenfield Automotive Park in Santa Rosa Laguna. SWCSEA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Silgan White Cap, based in Downers Grove, IL, USA, which is a product group of top packaging producer - Silgan Holdings USA.
