| Brilliance of Printing Adds Value to New Range Amcor White Cap is supplying its 53mm RTB Twist-Off (Regular Twist-Off with button) metal closure for a new Low Calorie Preserves range launched by A. Darbo of Austria. The closure The 53mm RTB Twist-Off closure has an appealing and sophisticated design. The white basic colour supports the brilliance of the printing, which depicts the fruit flavours in the range – apricot, strawberry and raspberry – as appropriate. The cap has a safety button tamper evident feature. The button pops up with an audible click during first opening when the vacuum is released – a major consumer advantage. You can see, hear and feel the change. The Product Launched in March 2006, Darbo’s new Low Calorie Preserves are free of chemical preservatives. They have a high fruit content of 60% and do not contain added sugar. Whilst regular jams and preserves have about 240 calories/100g, Darbo’s Low Calorie Preserves have only 80 – a reduction of 67% compared to traditional extra jams. Advantages for Consumers The Low Calorie Range offers a significant reduction in calories, an excellent taste and 3 of the most popular flavours in the Austrian market. Target groups are health conscious eaters including young women between 16 and 49 years of age amongst which are jam deniers.
