Vapour Vacuum® – Created by White Cap
Use of the vapour vacuum system brings the quality of your product up to optimum levels. For your customers, i.e. "the consumer”, more quality means: improved taste, preservation of product colour, longer shelf life and optimum product consistency.
If, for example, all the pieces of fruit are in the upper half of a jar of jam, this means a wrong vacuum has been chosen.
Of course we advise you on questions of heat treatment as well. Sometimes pasteurisation, rather than sterilisation, is sufficient. This not only saves time and resources but also helps protect the environment.
From the recipe to the shelf we individually analyse and optimise all your processes
resulting in greater product safety. This enhances your product quality and reduces failure rates, thus cutting costs. Requirements keep on changing.

With consideration to European legislation, we perform our own material developments, including in-house migration tests. In addition, we support you in respect of any regulatory changes. Whatever the container is made of… White Cap has the right closure!
During product development, even small changes to the closure geometry have a major effect – such as reducing the compound channel of the 27 RRP Twist-Off® or the new 51 PTU. Another challenge we are always embracing successfully is material combinations, demonstrated by our metal closures for steel cans or plastic containers and our Band-Guard® closure concept. We also test new applications enabling wine or beverages with a low alcohol content to be sealed. Trust us to supply you with state-of-the-art closure technology for any of your requirements.
